Popping my Scentsy Cherry

Something a bit different from me today! I'm no different from most of the beauty blogging community in that I ADORE scented candles. I share my room with two ferrets, who actually are not as horrendously stinky as one might assume and are kept very clean, but I always like to have something sweet and fruity lingering in the air, fuzzies or no fuzzies as it makes me feel all warm and happy inside. I'm a great fan of Yankee and Neom and all that jazz but, recently, a good friend of mine who just happens to be a Scentsy consultant made me a proposition I'd be foolish to refuse. She persuaded me to ditch my wick and give a flameless Scentsy warmer a try! She's ever so kindly sent me these items free of charge so that I can share them with you.

Mid-Size Cupcake Scentsy Warmer - £35*

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the concept of a flameless wax warmer (not burner, nothing burning here), I'll give you a bit of a rundown of Scentsy's mission and how their products actually work. Basically, they aim to bring you beautiful, decorative, family/pet friendly products that will make your home smell AMAZING and that eliminate all the mess, fuss and sometimes danger that goes along with traditional flamed candles and wax burners. You know the one where you've left your Yankee jar too close to the wall and you end up with that massive black soot smear ten feet high.... Yeah THAT!

The Scentsy warmer works by warming the ceramic tray from beneath by a single lightbulb. It plugs in at the wall, clicks on and off at the touch of a button and is pretty much child/pet/idiot proof! You just break a couple of blocks off whichever Scentsy bar you fancy (and there are many to choose from) and place them in the dish at the top. This Cupcake warmer also features a lid to make it extra secure. After a while, the blocks will begin to melt and the room will be filled with your delicious scent of choice!
There are so many different warmers to choose from of different sizes, shaped and designs. They are also perfect as gifts for weddings and also for newborns (a decorative and perfectly safe addition to the nursery). It really seems like a great investment and very eco friendly as you won't be left with an empty jar to get rid of every time.

Regular sized Scentsy Bars - £5 Each*

The Scents that Dawn has included for me to test drive are:

Vanilla Suede
I see from my brochure that this scent is actually featured as being perfect for MALE tastes.... Not sure what Dawn was getting at with that one or what that says about me hehehe. I did, however, specify beforehand that Vanilla and Sandalwood is my ultimate favourite scent. I have both Yankee and Neom varieties and I absolutely adore it! Vanilla Suede has both of these ingredients in abundance with the addition of rich amber and spices.

Cherry Limeade
This is a featured scent for the new Spring/Summer season and is a delicious mix of key lime, cherry and berries. It smells just like fruity POP! Most scents that I tend to go for are food orientated to be honest. A calorie free way to satisfy a latent sweet tooth haha. Scentsy actually do a specific 'Corner Cafe' range of scents as well featuring everything from Baked Apple Pie to Lychee Sorbet!

(Seriously, I had so much fun taking and editing the photos for this post! Great excuse to make use of some spare cupcake print wrapping paper I had lying around!)

I have to say that I am extremely impressed with the quality of the product! The warmer is sturdy, melts the wax steadily and the scents fill the whole room without being too overpowering. I'll report back on how long they last for scentwise. I've been burning 2 blocks in the warmer for a couple of days now and haven't had to change them yet. I find Vanilla Suede so comforting.
I also feel more confident to use the warmer when the ferrets are out and about as there is very little they can do to disturb it. The cord is a decent length and I've installed it on my vanity next to my makeup stash so that I can catch a whiff when I'm putting on or taking off my face.

I can't thank Dawn enough for giving me the chance to sample her wares!! You can browse and buy from Dawn's full catalogue online on her very own Scentsy website at nowick4uk.scentsy.co.uk or email her with any product questions at smellsheavenly@hotmail.co.uk. She's a lovely lady and a great friend and happy to help! I'd love it if you could show her some support.

Scentsy also offer an at-home service which is very similar to a handbag, Body Shop or naughty lingerie scenario so if you and your girls fancy a warm, relaxing evening in with a bottle of wine and some shopping then I'm sure Dawn can put you in touch with a Scentsy consultant in your area. I hear the hostess benefits are AMAZING!

Do you adore scented candles?? Would you consider swapping your Yankee?? Scentsy lovers, what are your ultimate Scentsy fragrances?? I need recommendations!!

Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm: Review

An exciting new product discovery for you today ladies! Regular readers may recall that I've been on a bit of a quest for radiant, glowy skin for Spring/Summer and when I found out that Elemis (a brand I really really rate) were launching a new Illuminating Flash Balm in May, I got a little overexcited! So excited that they offered to let me try it ahead of time and review it for you all! So, without further ado, I'll get on with it!

Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm*

I love Elemis products. Not least because they use AMAZING ingredients and are free from foul nasties like Parabens, Silicones, Mineral oils and all that other shizz.... This product boasts some gorgeous skin-loving ingredients such as purple orchid and acai.

I've never tried a Flash Balm before. I've had the Clarins one on my list for what seems like forever, but when I heard of this release I put it to the back of my mind. I love the idea of brighter, smoother, tighter skin. The product is kind of like a cross between a moisturiser and primer and can be used as either. I've been using it on top of my regular morning moisturiser (at the moment I'm using DHC Pore Milk for anyone curious) as a base for my foundation.

The product itself is quite thick and balmy (well it is a BALM, Lisa... Duhh). It smoothes easily over the skin and, as with most Elemis products I've used, you don't need a lot to do a whole face/neck. It has a strong citrus/floral scent, which won't be to everyone's taste and if you prefer not to use scented products on your face I'd give this a miss, but I don't mind it. I prefer it to the medicated scent of the Freshskin Mattifying Moisturiser I have. It has a very slight warm tint to it and a lovely sheen, without having any huge, glittery particles in it that will explode in bright light or with flash. It just boosts your natural glow.

Finished with Illamasqua Skinbase Foundation and MAC MSFN

I loooooove how this product makes my skin feel. It feels firmer, super smooth and more even in tone as well as disguising the few little lines I have (I'm not wearing concealer in this photo). I have combination skin and did wonder if it would accentuate those problem areas but this has proven not to be the case. My skin also feels warmer and more glowy.  It isn't overly dewy though. It is suitable for all skin types but I think I'd recommend anyone oilier than me to try a sample before purchase just to be on the safe side. I just love how my skin reflects the light after using this product. It just gives it that perfect little lift!

This product will retail for £32 for 50ml and is released in May 2013.

Are you a fan of Flash Balms?? Do you prefer a glowy finish or are you more of a matte kinda gal?? Do you rate Elemis products??

My Summer Blush Crush: Illamasqua Rude

Oh HAAAAAIII!!!
My sincere apologies my lovelies. It's been a bloody WEEK since I last posted. Big thumbs down! In truth, I took my camera and looooads of stuff away with me last week that I wanted to blog about but, stoopid Lisa forgot a couple of key items which lead to the lack of posting since last Friday. Good news is I'm back in London now and have access to my entire stash, as well as some new goodies so normal service can be resumed!!

I'm here tonight to wax lyrical about a blush I've been CRAVING lately since the weather got so much brighter and lovelier. I pined for it every day while i was away so physically JUMPED upon it as soon as I got back, and haven't let it go!!

Illamasqua Cream Blusher in Rude

Illamasqua have some of my favourite cheek products of all time. In fact, I don't own nearly as much Illamasqua as I would like to (main reason being, I can't afford it), but I've fallen head over heels in love with both the company and their products in the last year or so. I just really warm to the philosophy and message behind their products. I too believe that amazing, groundbreaking makeup should be accessible for all, regardless of their age, skin colour or walk of life. Everyone deserves the right to feel and look amazing and should never be intimidated by any product or makeup counter and feel totally free to experiment!

Rude is one of their cream formula blushes. It's a beautiful, creamy, peachy coral-type shade with no shimmer, just warm, glowy loveliness. I'm completely in love with it. It's so well pigmented yet blends into the skin so well to give a subtle, warm flush or can be built up for more of a WOW effect. I love that Illamasqua cream products are intended to be multi-use as well and I often wear Rude on my lips. I like to wear it on both cheeks AND lips sometimes and it really just ties my makeup together and gives a simple, peachy makeup look that i adore for Spring/Summer.

Apologies for the slightly fuzzy iPhone selfie. I had to rush out earlier for a meeting and didn't have time to fire up the DSLR (and i find the iPhone very handy for self-portraits). Luckily the photo still demonstrates how warm and peachy my skin looks when I'm wearing this product. It is on both my cheeks and lips in this photo and is just a really simple Summer daytime kinda look for me. I'm also wearing Illamasqua Skinbase foundation here (shade 9).

If you haven't tried Illamasqua's cream blushers yet I'd HIGHLY recommend that you give them a whirl! They're so versatile and easy to blend as well as having an AMAZING shade range to choose from. Seriously, you can go as subtle or as RAWR as you like! The other shade I have is Dixie, but I have my eye on Laid and Promise for the future. My Illamasqua wishlist is as long as my arm!

Browse all the shades at illamasqua.com. These blushers retail for 18.50 each. Why not treat your cheeks for the summer? They'll surely thank you for it!

What are your Illamasqua Favourites?? Do you have any favourite cheek colours for glowy, summer makeup?? What are your essentials??

2 Week Smoking Update: eCig Progress

Evening folks!
I'm going off topic again today (my apologies for those who would prefer not to read my life ramblings on anything other than beauty haha.... I shan't be offended if you carry on scrolling). I posted a couple of weeks ago about my decision to stop smoking and how I was using an Electronic Cigarette kit from vapingvision.co.uk to help me kick the habit and keep me away from the dreaded cancer sticks for good. I've reached the two week point now so I though I'd pop up with a little update, share my latest eLiquid finds and maybe encourage a few of you to follow my lead!
(May I just add that I am not being paid by Vaping Vision for featuring their products. Everything featured in these posts has been purchased with my own money, I just happen to be VERY impressed with their products and service)

I'm VERY happy to report that I have neither touched, nor felt like touching, a proper cigarette at all since we last spoke on the matter. What really really shocked me is that I'm totally FINE with other people smoking around me. I'm currently staying at my parents house and both my mum and brother smoke in the kitchen but I'm just NOT fussed! I even went outside while visiting some old work colleagues at the pub in Bakewell and was able to chat to them while they were having their cigarette break.

I'm still using the eGo, but I'm getting a little less reliant on it already. I can be around smokers without having to use it. Simply having it there in my handbag kinda takes the pressure off, as I know it's there if I have a wobble (but I haven't so far). I'm still on the nicotine liquids though. I'll be seriously looking into getting nicotine free ones in the next week or so. I've really been enjoying the different flavours from Vaping Vision though! My current favourite is Bubblegum. Sounds a bit mental doesn't it but it's sooooo nice!!  I feel I should point out that, to me, these eCigarettes don't feel the same as smoking real cigarettes. I don't find my habits are the same with it either. I know the true test will come when I come off the nicotine liquids but, I suspect that the nicotine isn't going to be the biggest problem for me. It'll be when I first attempt to go out and about without having it with me.

I hauled a few new flavours this week, Bubblegum, Vanilla, another Cherry (I'm all out, it's yummy) and the lovely James threw a Rum one in with my order. I'm actually a bit obsessed with the Bubblegum one haha. I also ordered some spare clearomisers as, after a couple of weeks, the wicks tend to die and need to be replaced. I'm loving my pretty purple one and will be ordering other colours (one for every outfit - this purple matched perfectly with the floral trousers I wore today haha).

LOL - I just can't help myself. Coordinating colours please me

I can safely say though that I am so pleased with my progress. I feel so empowered and triumphant and I REALLY am determined not to buy cigarettes any more. I have a little smug victory moment every time I leave the corner shop without any. I don't even miss them at the moment. We'll see how I get on without the nicotine eventually, I guess but so far so good! My food tastes yummier, I feel better in myself and I swear my skin is better (although I don't have problem skin by any means).

You can do it to!!!

Are you looking for your own extra push to quit the cigarettes for good? Well, James has issued me with my very own special discount code to share with readers of this blog which can be redeemed against ANY eCigarette Kits, Accessories, Parts and eLiquids on their site! You can use the code as many times as you like. I'm really happy that I might be able to help someone achieve the level of utter LIBERATION that I am currently experiencing.

Simply enter BRUNETTEBEAUTYBANTER at the checkout when paying for your items on vapingvision.co.uk

If you have any questions, queries or worries about anything, James is more than happy to answer emails (very quickly, I might add). You can find him on info@vapingvision.co.uk

I really have had a fantastic experience with them so far. My next update will probably be when i reach the 6 week mark. By then i hope to have weaned myself off the nicotine liquids so that I can begin to eliminate it altogether. Perhaps I'll become one of those social vapourisers that only whips out the eCig at boozy parties haha.

Do you have an inspiring SmokeFree story?? I'd love to hear it!! What worked for you??

Stuff I'm Loving Lately #1

When is a favourites post NOT a favourites post?...... When it's one of mine, that's when.
I always feel like a bit of a fraud doing monthly favourites posts. Mainly because my favourite products do not change on a monthly basis and I'd just be posting different stuff for the sake of it, but also because I find the term inaccurate. I'm always suspicious of different favourites posts for every month of the year. I'm always like "Hang on, how is that you're favourite, you've only had it 3 days??" or "That HG foundation isn't the same as last month's??". Don't get me wrong though, I'm all for discovering and embracing new products and I'll never stop looking. I just like to mull it over for more than a couple of weeks before declaring it my FAVOURITE. And I'd be a pretty lame. boring blogger if I blogged the same favourites 2 or 3 months on the jog, wouldn't I? I tend to grow attached to products that really work for me. Therefore, I vow NOT to ever do a favourites post ever again and, instead, highlight a few products every so often that I've been using the most or have been particularly enjoying lately.

And with that I'll crack on.....

Bourjois Healthy Mix: Radiance Reveal Foundation - 53 (Light Beige)*
There has been soooooo much damn BOURJOIS on this blog recently!! The main reason being I'M LOVING IT!! This foundation completely rocks my world. I love the consistency, the coverage, the finish, the scent..... just everything about it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. I'm currently alternating between this and my NARS Sheer Glow (which i like to keep for more special occasions) and I really don't find them that different from each other. Both give a lovely glowy finish to my skin, and last really well.

BeneFit Fakeup Hydrating Concealer: Medium*
I've worn this product every day since I got it. It's so handy to carry around, applies like a dream and keeps my dark circles at bay for a reeeeeeally long time. It's a light formula that feels really hydrating and does not crease. Of course, as it's Benefit, I also love the packaging. Very sleek and compact. It's a winner!! Read my post about the recent launch of Fakeup Here

Stila 'Garden Bliss' Shadow and Blush Palette
This little beaut has been a godsend for travelling up and down to University every week. It incorperates 4 shades that can be easily used for day or night time looks, as well as a really pretty pink blush. It's gorgeous and spot on for Spring! The shadows are really pigmented too. I don't own much Stila, but this palette is definitely one of my most used items of late.

Garnier Summer Body - Deep
I haven't used a gradual tanner in aaaaaages. However, I recently went in search of one as I was getting a bit 'blah' about my weekly tan (not that I went off it, I just felt like changing it up a bit). Johnsons Holiday Skin put me well and truly off graduals as it smells like utter MUCK, but luckily this one has the loveliest Apricot scent and gives an amazing colour even after the first application.

Bourjois 1Second Nail Polish Remover*
Yeeeees, I know.... MORE Bourjois. I'm beginning to sound like a stuck record. I'm so late to the party on this product it's not even funny, but it's just so easy to use and handy for carrying around or if, like me, you tend to bodge ONE nail. This allows for quick removal of any smudged nail polish whilst leaving the others untouched. No wonder it's a blogger favourite across the board!

DHC Liquid Eyeliner pen - Black*
This is by far my HG eyeliner product. I've been sticking to gel liners applied with a brush for quite a long time now, but since receiving this one, have not given them a second glance. This is the easiest eyeliner to apply that I have ever found. I struggle to get a thin enough line a lot of time. I don't know what it is about this one. It's a brush, but a very rigid, sturdy brush that doesn't slide around or bend too easily and you get a LOT of product so no need to dip between eyes. The shaft of the brush is also nice and long and easily controlled. I'd highly recommend!!

TIGI Catwalk Session Series: Transforming Dry Shampoo*
I was introduced to this during London Fashion Week and it's completely changed my viewpoint when it comes to dry shampoos. This is more of a texturising product, although it does absorb excess oil like you would expect of a dry shampoo. It's volumising and mattifying and I find an all-over spray of this followed by much ruffling of roots adds a touch of disheveled chic to my everyday look. It's virtually transparent as well so no hint of talcum powder hair. I find that my hair has a really silky texture and struggles to hold style so this is perfect for adding some 'grip'. I will be repurchasing the hell out of this.

Blue Nail Polish
I've been going MENTAL for blue on my nails recently!! I've no idea why... It started with the Barry M Blueberry Gelly polish and kind of escalated from there!! I've got quite a diverse range of tones as well and no two are the same (even though they may be SIMILAR). There's always room for another blue nail polish in my collection of late.

My shades are....
(As below, L-R)
Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint - Blueberry
H&M Nail Polish - Blue My Mind
Nails Inc Neon - Kensington Park Road
Bourjois So Laque Glossy - Adora-Bleu
Barry M Nail Paint - Denim
GOSH Special Edition Nail Polish - Tilted Blue

So those are a few things I've been going mental for in recent weeks/months/no particular timeframe and I have no intention of stopping using them just because I have to do a different favourites post in another month's time. So I ain't gonna do one haha. I'll just update you if I uncover any new gems that make it into my 'can't function without recently' pile. How about that??

Do you find products you LOVE and stick with them?? Or do you constantly search for something different/better??

Summer NEON with Nails Inc

If you caught my haul post earlier last week you'll see that I did a bit of a stint on the Nails Inc website in search of some brighter shades for Spring/Summer. There were a couple of shades I'd had my eye on but I decided to do the pick'n'mix 3 for £22 deal and opted for a third too. I'd originally wanted Holland Park as well (neon purple) but, to my dismay, it was out of stock so I must search on for that one. BUT I did pick up these little beauts.....

I'd been after Kensington Park Road for quite a while but, as with Holland Park, it is often out of stock when I go in search of it. Luckily I caught it this time. It's a neon blue, although it's quite a greenish kind of blue. If I were to think of a dupe I'd probably say Barry M Cyan blue (but darker) or OPI Did It On Em from the Nicki Minaj collection (but less green).

I guess Floral Street isn't so much neon but it is a bright, brilliant white. I wanted it as a base shade for glitters and confetti topcoats and suchlike. Not really much else to say about a white nail polish really is there, but it's something that everyone should have in their nail polish stash in my opinion. And now I have one.

Notting Hill Gate was the shade I went for on a whim in absence of the purple I was pining for. It's a bright neon pink which actually appears more muted on the nails than it does in the bottle. I'd describe it as a very bright raspberry pink, which I think I actually prefer to a full-on fleuro neon. It's so pretty!! I can't wait to try a cling film mani with this on top of another shade... Maybe even with Floral Street or Kensington Park Road. Watch out for it in future Monday Mani posts!!

These shades are sooooo pretty for summer. I can't wait to play around with them and team them with glitters and other shades. They're also stunning on their own as a bold, colour blocked statement mani. The neons do take a two or three coats to go opaque on me. For some reason the tips of my nails are MEGA white at the moment and shine through like a beacon. I guess that's testament to OPI Nail Envy though. My nails are virtually indestructible at the moment!

So now I have both my pastels AND my brights for summer! Although I suspect that I may accumulate more before the season is out.... Every time I do a Nails Inc order I end up putting even more polishes on my wishlist than I actually BUY!

Check out the pick'n'mix at nailsinc.com! You can go for 3,4,5 or even 10 polishes at a great multibuy price.

What are your go-to summer manicure shades?? Do you love bright, pastel or a combination or both?? What are your favourite nail polish brands??

Elegant Touch Launch: Little Mix Do NAILS!!

You ladies might have noticed that, in recent months, there has been a major upping of the nail posts on this blog! A) Because my nails are finally back to their former pre-kitchen-job glory and B) Because there are so many exciting new nail products being released this year and I just can't help myself!! Last night I went along to see the latest Elegant Touch and New Look collaboration with the lovely girlies from Little Mix and couldn't wait to play with the range!! Little Mix are a complete mash-up style wise and each girl has her own individual style within the group. I didn't know what to expect!

I was greeted by each girl's designs laid out with New Look outfits selected to complement each girl's individual style. The girls worked very closely with nail artists and New Look stylists to create their ranges and had input on every level so the nails and wraps themselves are completely personal to them. I just love this outfit above that was selected for Leigh-Anne! I'm adoring monochrome print with pastels this season! I may have to make another trip to New Look hehe. Anyways, I was thrilled to go home with the full product range and I'm here tonight to share them with you!

I'm going to take you through each girl's products one by one and give you a bit of a rundown of what inspired the designs and what they represent for the girls.

  Leigh-Anne

Leigh-Anne wanted her range to be all about 'Fresh and Funky Glamour'. It was important to her to pay tribute to her Jamaican heritage, but also to express her love of urban street style. The obvious salute to the Caribbean comes with the press-on nails she chose. Leigh-Anne's choice of wrap designs is obviously a reference to her more playful side.

 Jade

Jade chose pretty, girlie, multitonal designs incorperating her favourite things including hearts, bows and braces. I totally approve of her love of black and gold as a combination and her press-on nails are perfect for nights out. The wraps are obviously aimed at seriously GIRLY girls. She's not scrimped on the glitter thats for sure!! It was important to her that no nail was the same and that her designs represented her unique style.

Jesy

I think most would agree that Jesy is the bolshy, urban child of the group. She's gone all out in her nail designs incorporating everything from chains to spikes to street art. It's a style all of her own and makes her selections perfect for those who like to go the extra mile to make a statement. Jesy took inspiration from the likes of Gwen Stefani and Missy Elliot to create a set of products that were both fresh AND fierce.

 Perrie

Out of all the girls' choices, it was definitely Perrie that got it spot on for me. Perrie loves to combine elements of hippy boho AND rock chick, so it was no surprise that she came up with a fantastic combination of designs. She's thought of everything and not left anything out. The girlie galaxy press-on nails are soooo on trend and who doesn't love an edgy combo of roses, skulls, studs and glitter?? I also love that, like me, Perrie openly admits to being very clumsy when it comes to fiddly nail art and her nail wraps are a great solution!

It was Perrie's nail wraps that I opted to have applied at the event last night....

I'm very impressed with how sturdy these wraps are and I love how glossy the finish is. I really hope I can apply them on myself just as perfectly. I have limited experience when it comes to nail wraps haha. They seem very easy to apply and remove though so I have high hopes. I love that they're not just aimed at younger fans of the group. There are styles to flatter a 30yr old like me too!!

Elegant Touch Little Mix Press-On Nails and Wraps retail for £6 and are Exclusively Available from New Look stores and were launched TODAY!! So, whatever your style, I'd definitely recommend having a play. They really are a great accessory and finish off any outfit perfectly. Also, because they're Elegant Touch, you know they're durable and great quality.

Do you like your nails to make a statement?? Which of these styles and products best represents your style?? Will you be trying them out??

Mini Haul: Nails Inc, Bourjois, NARS

 Evening all!!
I've been doing a bit of hauling this week so far! Nothing too major but exciting nonetheless. Couple of online orders followed by a little 3for2 whim in Superdrug. I've got Summer makeup firmly on my mind lately. Probably because the sunshine has begun to shine through a little. The products I've acquired this week are all PERFECT for Spring/Summer!

I've been  using a lot of Bourjois lately (see previous post) and I've been really enjoying the products. When I spotted their products on 3for2 in Superdrug I couldn't ignore it, could I?!

I guess it was the special edition packaging that suckered me into buying this little blush pot! The colour is so pretty though! It's a lovely peachy pink with a pearly shimmer through it. It comes with a teeny little blush brush (gotta love tiny versions of things, even though they aren't overly useful). I haven't actually tried any Bourjois blushers before so I look forward to experimenting with this over the coming warmer months!

I've seen the new So Laque Glossy shades on so many blogs over the last week or so, I just had to pick one up! I went for Adora-Bleu, mainly because it was the one that I wanted the most, but also because it was the last bottle left in the shop out of the whole range haha. I guess its very similar to the BarryM Gelly polish in Blueberry but the colour looks more powdery blue. Blueberry is quite vivid in certain light.

I've been loving the Rouge Edition lip shades I have so, I decided to give this pale pink/beige nude shade a bash while I was at it as the other shades I have are either dark or bright. It looks like one of those barely-there, effortless colours and I love how they feel on the lips.

I did a cheeky Nails Inc online order last week and it was waiting for me when I got back to London from Uni last night!! So exciting!! I did the pick'n'mix 3 for £22 deal and took the opportunity to get my mitts on some Spring brights. And I'm talking NEON brights!! I also picked up Floral Street as I wanted a white as a base for glitters and other such polishes. I won't go into too much detail just yet as I'm going to follow with an official post about these polishes with swatches etc...

LOOK what arrived this morning in an ASOS shaped box.....!!!! Because I've been so good and not smoked a single cigarette in a whole WEEK (and no plans on doing so either), I threw caution to the wind the other night and ordered my DREAM bronzer from NARS cos I was feeling particularly proud of myself. Seriously, I've wanted this product for at least 2 years but I struggle to justify NARS purchases usually, unless there's someone there to enable me. It's just that little bit out of my price range. Having said that, I did also purchase Sheer Glow recently. Double splurge!!

Most of these products will probably feature again on this blog very soon so expect more information and swatches of everything in due course. I'm really pleased with how my Summer 2013 beauty bag is shaping up!

What have you been hauling lately?? Did you do the 3for2?? What products are calling your name for Summer??
